US Women's Champ Irina Krush vs. GM Ftacnik!

Live from IM Kopec's Chess Camp, US Women's Champion Irina
Krush will play a four game match against Grandmaster Lubomir
Ftacnik on July 14 and 15. The games will be broadcast live
onto the Internet Chess Club for members to watch. There will
be two games each day, with a 25 20 time control, starting at
1pm ICC time (5pm GMT). Here is information from the organizers:

Many of you may have heard of the "Krush Challenge Series" of
matches. U.S. Women's Champion Irina Krush, who is just 15 years
old, has played a series of training matches against such notable
players as GM's Arthur Bisguier, Walter Browne and Tal Shaked.
Now she meets her toughest challenge yet, GM Lubomir Ftacnik, who
has a FIDE rating of 2585. The event is sponsored by SmartChess,
operators of the World Wide Web Chess Superstore, which may be
found at http://www.smartchess.com/SmartChessOnline/default.htm
and by Kopec's Chess Camp.

The format will be different from the previous Krush matches,
which were conducted at conventional "slow" time controls. Each
player will have 25 minutes for the entire game, with a 20 second
"increment" added after each move. This is the same control FIDE
uses for the tiebreaking games at its knockout World Championship.
It will be good practice for Krush, as FIDE plans to adopt a
knockout format for the Women's World Championship after the
current cycle is concluded.
