ICC Help: ExtraTournament

2007 Christmas Special

On December 24 at 18:00 (6PM), the 2007 Christmas Special will be run on Tomato. The tourney format will be a 20 round luton with time controls of 3 0. There will be no dr-pts.

PRIZES:

The winner will receive 3 months. Second place will receive 2 months. Third place will recieve 1 month. Best U1600 will receive 1 month. There will be a random drawing with the winner of the drawing winning 1 month. To be eligible for the drawing you MUST play all 20 rounds.

PRIZE ELIGIBILITY:

To be eligible to receive a prize you must be a paying member with an established rating. Players with exempt status or anyone who is playing with a free trial account are welcome to play but are NOT eligible to receive prizes.

To be eligible to win the U1600 prize, you must have an ICC blitz-best rating under 1800.

MISCELLANEOUS:

All the usual ICC guideline rules apply: NO computer assistance. NO Human assistance. NO one may play on your account. NO intentionally lowering one's rating (sandbagging).

Players who delay the tournament for any reason, including but not limited to: latestarting games, constantly disconnecting, lag, declining challenges can be removed from the tournament at the sole discretion of the manager. Players, who lag can be declined entry to the tournament. The determination of acceptable lag level depends on the time control and is at the sole discretion of the manager.
